g7+ Countries Promote ‘Fragile-to-Fragile’ Partnerships

The General Secretary of the g7+, Helder da Costa, announced that the grouping is promoting "fragile-to-fragile" (F2F) partnerships, among fragile and conflict-affected countries, in the areas of public finance management, natural resource management, and peace and reconciliation.

He cited Timor-Leste's assistance to Guinea-Bissau on electoral registration efforts that resulted in fair and transparent elections in 2014 as an example of F2F partnerships.

He cited Timor-Leste’s assistance to Guinea-Bissau on electoral registration efforts that resulted in fair and transparent elections in 2014, as an example of F2F partnerships.

According to the December newsletter of the g7+, the Secretariat will issue a policy note on F2F as a means of peer learning, framing the approach as the g7+ version of South-South Cooperation.
