September 2003: The first meeting of the Bureau for the twelfth session of the Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD-12) met from 10-11 September 2003 in Oslo, Norway.

The CSD Secretariat briefed the Bureau on the state of preparation of the documentation for CSD-12 and five regional implementation meetings, which will convene between October 2003 and January 2004. The Bureau agreed in principle to schedule the High-level segment at the end of CSD-12. The second and third Bureau meetings will take place in New York; the second will take place on 3 October 2003 and the third will convene in November 2003.
