FAO Releases Survey of Pulp and Paper Production

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) released the 'Pulp and Paper Capacities 2013 – 2018,' containing information on 33 countries, which together represent 85% of pulp and paper production.

The report focuses primarily on wood pulp and paper, although information is also presented on pulp from straw, bagasse, bamboo and other fibers. The report covers paper types ranging from writing paper to wrapping and packing paper.
