6 October 2008: The list of experts for the first meeting of
the Ad Hoc Technical Expert Group (AHTEG) on biodiversity and climate change of
the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has been approved by the Bureau of
the CBD Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice and
the Bureau of the Conference of the Parties.
The list includes 15 experts
nominated by parties, 15 resource people and three observers. The AHTEG will
meet from 17-21 November 2008, in London, UK. [Notification,
