22 March 2011: The EU Commission has made available the speeches and presentations given during a public debate on risk assessment and management of genetically modified organisms (GMOs), held on 17 March 2011, in Brussels, Belgium.
The debate consisted of four sessions, on: independence of risk assessment bodies; applications for GMO authorizations: studies, reliability and transparency; draft EU Commission regulation on implementing rules for genetically modified (GM) food and feed risk assessment; and environmental risk assessment of GM plants.
