29 May 2012: UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) Executive Secretary Noeleen Heyzer has issued a five-point call for action, urging the media to increase its engagement on sustainable development issues. Heyzer made the call at the Asia Media Summit, which convened in Bangkok, Thailand, from 29-30 May 2012.
