15 July 2010: The European Investment Bank (EIB) signed a financing contract for 200 million Euros with the Group PSA Peugeot Citroën, to develop rechargeable hybrid vehicles.
The Group expects to develop polyvalent vehicles that will allow the use of diesel on highways, and electricity for urban travel.
