EBRD Announces Results of Energy Efficiency Programme in Ukraine

EBRD14 November 2011: The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has announced that the US$160 million Ukraine Energy Efficiency programme (UKEEP) will soon be completed.

EBRD announced the five best projects of the 40 financed under UKEEP, which involved the introduction of new technologies and methods aimed at energy efficiency savings. UKEEP, launched in May 2007, was supported by Austria and Sweden in various technical components as well as EBRD partner-banks UkrEximBank and Forum Bank, also named among most the active lenders.
