25 January 2013: The Secretariat of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) announced the establishment of a new online platform, the CMS Scientific Council Online Workspace. The platform aims at progressing intersessional work of the CMS Scientific Council by providing an innovative tool to facilitate participation, promote communication and support the goal-driven work of the Scientific Council. The Public Area of the Workspace is available for all interested stakeholders, however Scientific Councillors will each have a username and password to access the restricted area of the Workspace and to participate in the different working groups and thematic areas.
