29 July 2014: The Secretariat of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) has released the logo designed for the eleventh meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 11) to the CMS, which will convene in Quito, Ecuador, from 4-9 November 2014.

The logo depicts avian, marine and terrestrial migratory animals, together with the national colors of the COP 11 host country, Ecuador. ‘Time for Action!’ is the motto of CMS COP 11. It will be the first CMS COP convened in Latin America, and also the first to include a High-Level Segment, scheduled for 3 November 2014.
