The Convention on Migratory Species (CMS) and the Zoologisches Forschungsmuseum Alexander Koenig, Bonn (ZFMK) have announced the call for applications of the third UNEP/CMS Thesis Award on Migratory Species Conservation.

2 December 2010: The Convention on Migratory Species (CMS) and the Zoologisches Forschungsmuseum Alexander Koenig, Bonn (ZFMK) have announced the call for applications of the third UNEP/CMS Thesis Award on Migratory Species Conservation.

The deadline for the online application is 15 April 2011, and the prize will be awarded at the tenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to CMS, to be held in November 2011, in Bergen, Norway. The award amounts to € 10,000. The thesis should provide new data and insights into the biology of migratory species or external factors disrupting their migration patterns.
