5 November 2010: The Convention on Migratory Species (CMS) has launched the countdown to its 10th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 10), to be held under the theme “Networking for Migratory Species.”

CMS COP 10 will be held from 20-25 November 2011, in Bergen, Norway. The theme aims to underline the crucial role of habitats and ecosystems in the lives of migratory species, as well as the need to mitigate habitat fragmentation and loss, by creating connectivity among habitats.
