2 September 2011: The International Union for Conservation of Nature’s Environmental Law Center (IUCN ELC) and the Convention on Migratory Species (CMS) have entered into a memorandum for continued cooperation on legal matters.According to the agreement, IUCN ELC will provide the CMS Family Secretariats with legal assistance, including analyzing gaps to determine the potential benefits of new CMS instruments, drafting new CMS instruments, and assessing implications of the potential structural changes of the CMS Family.
