16 January 2009: The UN University (UNU) “World 2.0” blog has been awarded the prize for the best designed site by the world’s largest Internet blog competition.

The website was launched in July 2008, and features articles written by the UNU academic faculty, as well as other contributors, and brief video stories from around the world, exploring the relationship between climate change, energy and food security. [UN Press Release]
