2 March 2012: The Clean Energy Solutions Center, an initiative of the Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) and UN-Energy, has published the sixth issue of its newsletter, discussing the Center’s work, training and renewables databases.

The issue highlights the Center’s work, including on providing expert assistance on energy efficiency, renewable energy or other clean energy policy issues at no cost. It also showcases training events and webinars, including on the Energy Action Management Network for Industrial Efficiency (EMAK). This issue’s featured expert is Christine Egan, Executive Director, Collaborative Labeling and Appliance Standards Program (CLASP).

The newsletter contains information on useful databases on clean energy policy, such as UNIDO’s Industrial Energy Efficiency database. It also has a section on the preliminary findings from a high renewable energy penetration analysis, developed by the Center in partnership with other stakeholders including governments and international organizations.
