CGIAR Launches Climate Food and Farming Research Network

CLIFF is an international research network that will link researchers and doctoral students working on climate change mitigation and adaptation in small-scale farming and food systems.

November 2010: The Challenge Program on Climate Change Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) of the Consultative Group on International Agriculture Research (CGIAR) has launched an initiative called the Climate Food and Farming Research Network (CLIFF) with the University of Copenhagen.

CLIFF will link researchers and doctoral students working on climate change mitigation and adaptation in small-scale farming and food systems. The international research network aims to: generate new knowledge; facilitate knowledge sharing; and provide a platform for collaboration on themes related to mitigation potential, monitoring and measuring, and incentive systems.
