28 January: The Executive Board of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) has released the proposed agenda and annotations, as well as the draft work programme, for its 45th meeting, scheduled to be held from 11–13 February 2009, at the UN Campus in Bonn, Germany.

The documents outline the issues to be taken up by the Board at the meeting, which include membership issues, the CDM management plan, and resources for work on the CDM. The Board will also discuss matters relating to: the CDM programme of activities; the registration of CDM projects; the issuance of certified emission reductions and the CDM registry; accreditation of designated operational entities; and methodologies for baselines and monitoring plans. The annotated agenda identifies the relevant documents from previous meetings to be considered by the Board. Proceedings of the meeting will be webcast on the CDM website.
