CDM Executive Board Calls for Public Input on Policy Dialogue

The Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) Executive Board has launched a call for public inputs on issues to be addressed in the policy dialogue on the CDM.

The call is open from 27 October 2011 to 16 January 2012.

26 October 2011: The Executive Board of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) has launched a call for public input on issues to be addressed in the policy dialogue on the CDM, including external forces affecting the CDM, future challenges it can be expected to face, and opportunities and possible directions for its future use and development.

At its 64th meeting, the Board agreed to the terms of reference for the policy dialogue and to launch the dialogue at the seventh session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (COP/MOP). In this context, the Board agreed to launch this call for public inputs. The inputs received, together with a summary of them, will be shared with the panel that will conduct the dialogue and will be considered by the Board at its 66th meeting.
