8 August 2011: The Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security Program (CCAFS) of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) has opened a call for proposals on “the review of and strategy development for climate change communications and social learning in climate change.”

The call aims for a review of current approaches to climate change communications and social learning that are applicable to the developing world. In particular, it calls for examining different kinds of communication channels for stakeholder groups to help CCAFS prioritize activities for rural areas in developing countries. The call also requires the development of a strategy for future CCAFS engagement.
