The 61st edition of the 'Biannual Report on the Administration of the Convention on Biological Diversity' (CBD), covering the period from July to December 2013, has been made available online.

CBDMay 2014: The 61st edition of the ‘Biannual Report on the Administration of the Convention on Biological Diversity’ (CBD), covering the period from July to December 2013, has been made available online.

The report contains a summary of key activities in implementing the decisions of the CBD Conference of the Parties and other relevant matters with regard to: scientific assessment and monitoring; the Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit Sharing; technical support for implementation; mainstreaming partnerships and outreach; the Japan Biodiversity Fund; and the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety. It also includes annexes on administrative and financial issues, including a staff list, the status of contributions, a financial expenditure report, and meetings held by the CBD Secretariat.
