8 April 2011: The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has invited Parties and partner organizations to suggest names of potential experts to prepare a report on the full assessment of funding necessary and available for implementation of the Convention, for the period July 2014-June 2018.
Five experts will comprise a team of experts, including two from developing country Parties, two from developed country Parties, and one from an international NGO, who will prepare the report.
Nominations, in accordance with the terms of Decision X/26 on the financial mechanism, should be submitted by 1 June 2011. [CBD Notification]
