CBD Secretariat Calls for Posters on Biodiversity for Development

A poster session on biodiversity for development, to be showcased during the 11th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the CBD (COP 11), to be held from 8-19 October 2012, in Hyderabad, India, will focus on linking biodiversity and ecosystem services to development and poverty eradication.

CBD6 June 2012: The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has called for posters on biodiversity for development, to be showcased during the 11th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the CBD (COP 11), to be held from 8-19 October 2012, in Hyderabad, India.

The poster session will emphasize the work conducted by international bodies to meet the 2020 Aichi Biodiversity Targets, particularly examples linking biodiversity and ecosystem services to development and poverty eradication.

Interested organizations are invited to indicate their interest to the CBD Secretariat before 25 June 2012, as participation is limited to 29 respondents. Costs related to printing and designing of the posters will be covered by the CBD Secretariat. [CBD Notification]
