1 December 2008: A capacity development workshop for the Pacific region on national biodiversity strategies and action plans (NBSAPs), mainstreaming of biodiversity and the integration of climate change will be held from 2-6 February 2009, in Nadi, Fiji.

The workshop is being jointly organized by the Secretariat of the
Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and the Secretariat of the
Pacific Regional Environment Programme, in partnership with the
Secretariat of the South Pacific Community, the UN Environment
Programme and the Ministry of Tourism and Environment of Fiji.
Nominations of country representatives and experts to act as resource
persons should be made no later than 22 December 2008. [The Notification]
