November 2012: The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has circulated the latest issue of “Business.2020,” its magazine on business and biodiversity. The November issue focuses on business and biodiversity in India, and showcases good practices allowing companies to be more sustainable and profitable.

The preface by CBD Executive Secretary Braulio Ferreira de Souza Dias highlights synergies between business development and eco-friendly practices. Pavan Sukhdev contributes an article on “Biodiversity and ecosystem services: a business case for investment.” Other articles examine Indian initiatives relevant to business and biodiversity.
