12 November 2010: The Consortium of Scientific Partners to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has expanded, as three new members signed Memoranda of Understanding with the CBD Secretariat on the margins of the 10th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 10) to the CBD , held in October 2010 in Nagoya, Japan.

The three new members are: Missouri Botanical Garden; the Joint Nature Conservation Committee of the UK; and the National Institute of Biological Resources of Korea [CBD Communiqué].
