2 May 2011: The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has issued a notification inviting children and youth tree-planting activities as part of The Green Wave in celebration of the International Biodiversity Day on 22 May 2011.
The CBD Secretariat is inviting parties to encourage involvement of children and youth in The Green Wave, a global biodiversity education project for children and youth, supportive of the CBD goals. [CBD Notification]
