ASCOBANS Launches New Website

The new website of the Agreement on the Conservation of Small Cetaceans of the Baltic and North Seas (ASCOBANS) includes greater information content and changes to the site's navigation.

The Secretariat plans to continue expanding the information provided on the redesigned site.

July 2011: The website of the Agreement on the Conservation of Small Cetaceans of the Baltic and North Seas (ASCOBANS) has been re-launched with a new design, revised structure and increased information content. The website address remains www.ascobans.org.

New features of the re-launched site include: a dedicated start page with basic information on the Agreement, latest news and quick links; an extended species pages; extended sections on threats to cetaceans and actions the public can take; a section on projects supported through ASCOBANS and information on the application procedure; and basic information on ASCOBANS in the 15 official languages of the Agreement Area. The ASCOBANS Secretariat plans to expand the information provided on the site by creating dedicated pages on the Jastarnia and North Sea Plans, as well as other ongoing additions. [ASCOBANS Website]
