7 June 2010: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has launched a new Clean Air Portal, which is the point of entry for data and information on air quality, climate change co-benefits, energy and transport.

The Portal’s Knowledgebase allows users to search and upload articles, policies, organizations, projects and programmes, training courses, photos and videos, as well as to tag content thematically and geographically. Members can also participate in online communities of practice such as Air Quality and Co-benefits, Sustainable Transport, and Green Freights.
The Clean Air Initiative for Asian Cities is supported by the ADB through the Japan Special Fund, and assisted by a Knowledge Management Advisory Group integrated by ADB, Clean Air Initiative of Latin American Cities, Global Atmospheric Pollution Forum, GTZ, Institute for Global Environmental Strategies, USAID, and the World Bank.
