1 December 2009: The judges’ scores for the UNFCCC Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) International Photo and Video Contest 2009 have been tallied and 25 photos and eight videos have been shortlisted.
The contest, themed “CDM Changing Lives,” expanded on the success of “Changing Lives 2008” with the addition of a video category, and entrants were asked to answer the question, “People should know about this CDM project because…” The winning submissions will be announced in a recognition ceremony on 8 December 2009, during the 15th session of the Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC (COP 15), in Copenhagen, Denmark. The ceremony will be available in on-demand webcast on the UNFCCC CDM website shortly after the winners are announced.
