This meeting will comprise three plenary sessions, a civil society consultation, and an inaugural session. Plenary sessions will focus on social development commitments, challenges of implementing mandates related to the theme of the Fourth Summit of the Americas, and guidelines for the Plan of Action of the Fourth Summit of the Americas. The SIRG, composed of national coordinators from country participants of the Summit Process, is responsible for coordinating and following up on the implementation of the mandates emanating from the Summits of the Americas. The Fourth Summit of the Americas will take place the first week of November 2005 in Mar del Plata.
