This conference will explore multiple aspects of teak cultivation and management in the context of sustainable development, under the theme of “Sharing Our Planet: Teak Model Development towards the Improvement of Mankind”. Four parallel symposia will cover the following issues related to teak: genetics, silviculture and utilization; environment, climate change and carbon trading; economics and investments; and rural development.
