This workshop is being convened as a contribution to the work of the UN Forum on Forests (UNFF) in order to consider options for a future International Arrangement on Forests (IAF). The country-led initiative workshop will build on the work of the first Open-ended Intergovernmental Ad Hoc Expert Group on the International Arrangement on Forests (AHEG1), which considered views from Parties on the matter as well as the report of the Independent Assessment. The results of the workshop will be submitted to the second AHEG as well as to the eleventh session of the UNFF.
