This workshop is organized by the MCPFE Liaison Unit Warsaw, UNECE and FAO, with support by the Governments of Switzerland and Latvia. It will seek to improve understanding of how policies and strategies developed in other sectors, such as energy, nature conservation, trade, agriculture and rural and urban development, affect forestry, with the objective being to identify ways to coordinate policies in these areas.
