The International Energy Agency's Renewable Energy Technology Deployment (IEA-RETD) will hold this workshop aiming to explore how different countries aim to capitalize on renewable energy. Participants are expected to hear policy cases on how policy objectives are being met in the areas concerned with securing energy supply, industrial and economic development, and climate change mitigation among others. The workshop will also provide the venue to launch the “EMPLOY” project, which has proposed methodological guidelines for quantifying employment effects of renewable energy deployment.
