Workshop: “Opportunities and threats of REDD+ – Why we need an active anti-corruption community?”

This workshop is organized by the UN Development Programme (UNDP) and GTZ at the occasion of the 14th International Anti-Corruption Conference. Participants will discuss the opportunities and threats in REDD+, considering that a substantial amount of financial resources – about US$15-30 billion – are expected to be invested in climate mitigation. The workshop will focus on what needs to be done and who can do what to integrate preventive anti-corruption measures into REDD+ development and implementation. This workshop will be moderated by UNDP Environment and Energy Group Director Veerle Vandeweerd.
