Hosted by the Government of Ghana with support from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF), this workshop will provide an opportunity to discuss national policies, strategies and targets around household water treatment and safe storage (HWTS), share lessons learned in HWTS implementation, and explore synergies and approaches to integrate HWTS within broader public health efforts. Workshop participants will include representatives from Gambia, Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone, as well as other key stakeholders from international and local organizations, academia and the private sector.
