The US Clean Energy Education and Empowerment (C3E) women's initiative will host this invitation-only symposium, which will bring together over 20 leaders in clean energy with business leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, academics, and students to discuss six topics: energy technology and innovation; advancements for the developing world; US energy policy; entrepreneurship and innovative business models; corporate implementation; and mentorship and education. During the event, the C3E awards will also be handed to six leaders in clean energy for their contributions to and leadership in one of the six core areas of discussion. A live webcast of the event will be available, which is free yet requires prior registration. C3E is an initiative of the Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM), which aims to advance the position of women in the field of clean energy. The US C3E women's initiative is a partnership between the US Department of Energy (DOE) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Energy Initiative.
