The UN General Assembly (UNGA) High-level Meeting on the Fight Against Tuberculosis will be held on the theme, ‘Advancing science, finance and innovation, and their benefits, to urgently end the global tuberculosis epidemic, in particular by ensuring equitable access to prevention, testing, treatment and care’.

The Meeting will be convened by the UNGA President on 22 September 2023 during the general debate of the Assembly at its 78th session. It will consist of an opening segment, a plenary segment for general discussion, two multi-stakeholder panels, and a brief closing segment.
