The UN General Assembly will hold a debate on 'Follow-up to the Programme of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development' (ICPD). This follows the UNGA's 29th Special Session on follow-up to Programme of Action of the ICPD, held on 22 September 2014, and provides an additional opportunity for UN Member States to deliberate on the actions required for the full achievement of the Programme's goals and objectives.
