Marking the 30th anniversary of the Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, the UNESCO International Congress will bring together more than 500 experts to discuss the Convention’s successes and problems; address ways of making the Convention and UNESCO’s efforts to protect World Heritage better known; and to strengthen future partnerships for World Heritage Conservation. This year’s theme will be – “Shared Legacy, Common Responsibility.”
