The Timber Committee of the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) will gather governments, industry, research, non-governmental organizations and the media to review the latest international developments affecting the forest sector. Under the theme “Innovative Wood Products are the Future,” discussion will address: wood energy, carbon markets and certified forest products markets, and the role of wood products in mitigating climate change.
