The UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) will convene a regional implementation meeting (RIM) for the ECE region, in preparation for the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20). The PrepCom will be preceded by a one-day training, on 30 November 2011, offered by the UNCSD Secretariat, ECE, and Stakeholder Forum, for regional Major Groups and other partners, to build capacity to engage with the Rio+20 process.
