UN Reflection Series 2016: Development Cooperation, Policy Advice and MICs

The UN System Staff College Knowledge Centre for Sustainable Development, in collaboration with the Hertie School of Governance and the UN Development Operations Coordination Office (UN DOCO) is organizing this Reflection Series event on Development Cooperation, Policy Advice and Middle Income Countries (MICs) for UN staff and development partners to have in-depth discussions and share knowledge on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and MICs. MICs are home to five of world's seven billion people and 72% of the world's poorest population. The seminar will discuss approaches to reconciling MIC growth rates with inequality gaps, and embracing traditional and emerging cooperation modalities and partnerships. The UN Reflection Series is an annual event to facilitate knowledge sharing among UN and development agency partners in a “non-UN” setting.
