The UNFCCC Adaptation Fund will bring together nearly 20 climate-vulnerable countries primarily from the Asia-Pacific region for a training workshop in Bangkok, Thailand, aimed at enhancing access to climate finance.

The workshop coincides with the Asia-Pacific Climate Week 2019, which is part of a Regional Climate Week series, organized by the Nairobi Framework Partnership (NFP), seeking to raise climate ambition and action around the Paris Agreement on climate change, the UN Climate Action Summit in New York, US, in September and the 25th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 25) to the UNFCCC in Chile in December.
