The International Trade Centre (ITC) is hosting the fifth Trade for Sustainable Development Forum at ITC headquarters in Geneva from 1-3 October 2018. The T4SD Forum 2018 will convene in parallel to the World Trade Organization (WTO) Public Forum 2018.

The fifth T4SD Forum will focus on SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and its relationship with sustainable trade in global value chains.

Sessions will address topics including: Sustainable Consumption: Challenges and Opportunities; the role of standards in driving sustainable production and consumption; Sustainable production practices in the textile and apparel sectors; The Future of Sustainable Consumption in Emerging Markets; Sustainable production for safeguarding biodiversity; and Sustainable Trade in the Connected Future.
