Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this event will no longer take place. 

The event will convene on the theme, ‘Using Communication to Transform Research and Policy on Climate Change Adaptation.’ The Symposium will contribute to catalyzing further action by better communicating on climate change, including through the use of lifelong learning methods. 

The Symposium is organized by the World Sustainable Development Research and Transfer Centre (WSD-RTC) of the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Manchester Metropolitan University (UK), University of Warsaw (Poland) and the International Climate Change Information Programme (ICCIP), in collaboration with the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) and other partners.
