This meeting is scheduled to be the third of five Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC) meetings to negotiate a legally binding instrument on mercury. The third session of the Committee will take place at UNEP Headquarters in Nairobi from 31 October-4 November 2011, with technical briefing and regional consultations planned on 30 October 2011. The program for the technical briefing will be released in August 2011.
