This side event is being organized during the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20) by A.P. Moller-Maersk Group. It will focus on the economic, social and environmental impacts of container shipping in enabling trade in high growth markets, building on the preliminary findings of an impact study done by Maersk and Copenhagen Economics.
