The workshop, the first of three sub-regional workshops to be held as part of the Climate Change Financing for Forests Project under the UN Forum on Forests (UNFF), will facilitate an exchange of views and experiences on climate change finance for forest management. Outcomes from the workshop will include suggestions on ways to enhance the links between climate change and forest finance. Hosted by the Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO), the workshop will bring together representatives from Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
