The Sustainable Investment Forum will bring together approximately 300 participants from national and regional governments, international finance and the private sector to advance dialogue on effective public-private funding mechanisms for scaling up low-carbon innovation and green finance opportunities necessary to realize the goals of the Paris Agreement. Topics to be addressed include: measuring and standardizing climate disclosure; developing climate-friendly investment portfolios; low-carbon investment in emerging regions; private sector innovation for low-carbon growth; and cities and regions as drivers of change. The event is being organized by Climate Action as part of Climate Week NYC, taking place from 19-25 September 2016. Climate Action builds partnerships between business, government and public bodies to accelerate international sustainable development and advance a green economy, and was established in 2007.
